Hi i just thought id ask will Bertha hit scotland ? Scientist have also clamed that Bertha is the longest Hurricane to survive out in the open Atlantic(This sesone so far) she was a Hurricane at first and planned to hit Bermuda but Bertha did nothing what so ever instead she was down graded to a tropical storm but then came back to life.At the moment she is heading towards Iceland but if by any chance could she hit Scotland on her way? You dicide

We will have to take a good close look at what she will do if she stays somewhat powerful it will be a matter of battening down the hatches ! Ridiculous for summer !

Well it looks like Bertha is now a tropical storm again and she is losing her power but heres the funny thing she has now run into a larger extratropical cyclone that is just west of Ireland so what happens next well to be honest i havent got a clue lol we shall just have to wait and see what happen's in the next few hours but i dout it will be a direct hit on scotland more than most likely it will just be the tail end of the storm. And yes i will agree it has been a bad summer wich is due to the El Nina but i recone summer might rush in at the end of July fingers crossed .

Ok just got some more info, the Tropical storm will hit Iceland but Ireland/Scotland/Uk will be seeing a warm front moving in from the atlantic followed by a cold front within the next 24-48 hours lets hope we get a thunder storm or two i'll just go now and find more info for thunderstorms but i dout we will see or hear anything, O and all so i nearly forgot the low pressure will be hitting 992mb wich is not to bad.
