Took a trip out tonight into the middle of nowhere as the skies were clear with the hope of seeing NLC's. It looked very promising however, on reaching an area with no light pollution found that they were almost none existing. There appeared to be a hint of some to the North however, not bright enough to be absolutely sure. If they were NLC's then they were WAY North of Falkirk.
I've taken some photographs which I will post tomorrow.

I have now examined the photographs and no NLC to be seen.
For the last few nights cloud has obscured the Northern Sky so I've not seen any further NLC. Lets hope we will all get another chance before the season ends.

Just a reminder that the NLC season runs roughly from May to August.
